Revisiting the Violas from 8 months ago.

The Lord himself goes before you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Deuteronomy 31: 8

Scars are not signs of weakness, they are signs of survival and endurance.

Rodney A. Winters

Happy he who learns to bear what he cannot change.

Friedrich Schiller
A cake stand holding violas and pansies . Celebrating their endurance.
They have given colour to the garden right through winter and are more plentiful in leaf and stronger than in September 2021. ( 8 months)

The cake stand was a Christmas gift from my nephew and niece. It had a home made fruit cake to display and taste!
A
gift remembered with love.

If you want to know the difference between a Viola and a pansie look at the petals. Pansy : four petals pointing upward and one petal pointing downward. Viola : two petals pointing upward and three pointing downward.

Love endures only when the lovers love many things together and not merely each other.

Walter J Lippmann

  1. Wow, your life is full of color. Our winters and so far spring this year is a black white and brown (now seeing patches of earth from snow melt). Those pictures of flowers create “anticipation” in me.
