Rosemary (shrub and creeping), forsythia and pussy willow.

Wherefore as we have so many witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that bothers us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame , and is set down on the right hand of God.

Hebrews 12 : 1,2
Rosemary shrub stalks at the back and creeping rosemary in the front. Forsythia in the middle and pussy willow sticks flying out.

There’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance. Pray,  love,  remember.

William Shakespeare
Creeping rosemary. An easy to care for ground cover.  It can spread 4 to 8 feet if left.  It loves sun and well drained soil.

“As for rosemary, I let it run all over my garden walls, not only because my bees love it but because it is the herb sacred to remembrance and to friendship whence a sprig of it hath a dumb language.”

Thomas More
Forsythia flowers have four strap like petals.

“Forsythia is pure joy. There is not one ounce , not a glimmer of sadness or even knowledge in forsythia. Pure undiluted, untouched joy.”

Anne Marrow Lindbergh
Pussy Willow
Everything that anyone would ever look for is usually where they find it.🤣😏
I have a little pussy, and her coat is silver gray; She lives in a great meadow And she never runs away.
She always is a pussy.
She’ll never be a cat.  Because she’s a pussy willow!
Now what do you think of that.
Shrub rosemary at our gate. It smells  a little like pungent eucalyptus and camphor as the metal of the gate scrapes against it.  An earthy welcome.🙂

  1. Rosemarie is a wonderful herb. Didn’t know there was a creeping version. That Shakespeare quite took me back to teaching Othella a lifetime ago!
