The forced Hyacinth bulbs from my post 14 Dec 2021

Stunted but purple so deep that you can look into it against vibrant green. A contrast to appreciate.

So clearly struggling to open its petals in shades of delicate pink. These too are in contrast with the cupped pale green leaves.

Here are the other three of the forced Hyacinth bulbs. I am going to plant all six of them in the garden. None of them are rotten! But no more “forcing!” 😕

Force vs freedom. A very thought provoking post.
I’ve always wanted to grow hyacinths – the forced way😝. I think they’d get eaten by something if I planted them in the garden.
