Swiss cheese plant / Monstera delicious. FIRSTLY, the leaves are not delicious they can cause skin irritation to some people and burn your mouth severely if eaten. Keep these plants away from pets and children.
SECONDLY, the reason for the word delicious is that the fruit looks like corn on the cob and the kernels are sweet with the texture of banana and a taste like pineapple. Hence the name we often use delicious monster. 😋
This giant of a delicious monster was growing up a tree in the mountains 30km from Tzaneen in South Africa.
CAMELLIA

Camellia grow and bloom better in partial shade (morning sun and dappled afternoon shade). They are ever green and can flower through winter. Mine had buds through winter but is flowering well now.
Shiny thick green leaves, red heart shaped petals soon to experience the winds of Storm Eunice. People are warned to stay indoors and it could be the worst for 30 years.

    Those delicious monsters have the most fragrant flowers imaginable. They’re not beautiful, but smell wonderful. Fruit rather nice too.
