We saw several of these hippo warning signs on the way. We stopped on the side of the road to take this picture. Miles and miles of orange groves. Taken through an open window while travelling at 100km/hour. The leaves and bark are used to treat malaria hence the name. It can grow 2m a year. Tall and straight with a group of big leathery paddle-shaped leaves at the top from 50 to 100cm in size. This tree was higher in the mountains, 30km from Tzaneen, where it is normally misty and rainy at this time of year but it was perfect today and a good place to rest and eat.
