A revisit to cyclamen

And Moses said to God; ” Please can I see your glory”.

And then God said; “I will make all my goodness pass before you,….and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and show mercy on whom I will show mercy….and then the Lord said “there is place by me, and you will stand upon a rock: And while my glory passes by I will put you in the cleft of a rock, and will cover you with my hand . And I will take away my hand so you will see my back but not my face.”

Exodus 33: 18- 23 ( the way I understand it๐Ÿ™‚)
A path through the cold to the sun…
where I picked leaves from a cyclamen growing sheltered by a wall, near a road on an icy morning. Notice the pattern and colour. These leaves are thick and strong.
After spending part of September all of October and November in the garden. I potted up the cyclamen and brought them in 5 out of 6 are still well. These leaves belong to a more sensitive variety and are more tender and may have died in the frost. Their lowest temperature is about 4 C .
Leaves from the hardy plants which have no flowers now and flowers from the tender. A combination of pink green and red.

To see a world in a grain of sand ,

And a heaven in a wild flower,

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,

And Eternity in an hour.

William Blake, 1757 – 1827
