The greatest of all signs of Christ’s soon coming is the worldwide proclamation of the Gospel.

Pale pink and smooth with faint circles, a flat new fungus surrounded by willow leaves brown, yellow and green.
Two weeks later with age curling the edges and a distinct change in colour to creamy beige the fungus is maturing. The surrounding
willow leaves are becoming weather worn, shiny wet and a deeper brown, almost black.
A tree trunk of a stipe/stem with gills for branches. An umbrella turned upward. A milky, flaky chocolate with only a hint of brown. A complex storage space for spores. Officially a fruiting body!
Rose hips red and dry but rich in vitamin C. A hard, smooth and crinkled seed pod a reminder of a summer rose. Then the spongy contrast of a pale wavy, curling, fungus edge.
An apple tree leaf, rich brown with a serrated edge.
Shiny willow leaves like over ripe banana skins.
Fleshy, soft, gills of a fungus in pale yew.
