God through Jeremiah tells Israel what to say when they need to say sorry to Him. “Behold we come unto Thee; for Thou art the Lord our God. Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord is the salvation of Israel… We lie down in our shame and confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”
Jeremiah 3: 22-25
The garden had these delightful Zinnias in them this morning. I grew them from seed and as soon as the frosts were gone planted them out. They belong to the tribe of the sunflower and inside the daisy family. They are annuals and once the flower shrivels and dries there are seeds. The flowers last up to 12 days once cut and in water.
The architectural Angelica plants growing next to the Cardoon , have done really well year after year. The tender leaves can be used in salads and there uses seem to be worth finding out about as they cover quite a few ailments.
The canes outside the container are also from the Angelica plant which I am cutting down to allow new growth before winter. The thin canes can be used as straws.
Jesus taught us to say this: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread.
