Seek he the Lord while he may be found, call he upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way , and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy on him ; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither my ways your ways, saith the Lord…
Isaiah 55: 6 – 8
Will picked a single blossom from a gorse bush beside him; it shone bright yellow on his grubby hand. ” People are very complicated,” He said sadly. “So they are,” John Rowlands said. His voice deepened a little, louder and clearer than it had been. ” But when the battles between you and your adversaries are done, Will Stanton, in the end the fate of all the world will depend on just those people, and on how many of them are good or bad, stupid or wise. And indeed it is all so complicated that I would not dare foretell what they will do with their world. Our world.

I’d love to smell these, I love the smell of coconut! I have to mention too on your little bobble-head turtle pin cushion, I have one just like it but blue instead of pink. It was my grandmother’s, I played with it as a child. I now have it on my dresser, just another little reminder of my Grandmom to cherish. 🙂
I don’t know gorse. I wonder if you get it here. I’ll check. Very important verse from Isaiah and Profound Susan cooper quote. Great post. (Saw the spider straightaway😜)

That is wonderful that you have a little tortoise like mine. Mum kept it on her dressing table where I played with it. So happy to have met you.🙂
My favourite colour is yellow and seeing and smelling the gorse always makes me happy

So pretty in a vase. I see this all over California along the coast.
Ah have you gone to smell it? Just lovely!!! Lucky you. The smell of the sea and the Gorse.
Beautiful. 🌻
Thank you, Jeff. Gorse is bright and cheerful but beware the spikes.
