Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and don’t think you understand everything. Acknowledge God, and he will direct your paths. Don’t be wise in your own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Proverbs 3:5-7 it would have been a good thing if Solomon had given himself time to reread this whole chapter that he wrote…but clearly he didn’t...
All the sins and excesses of Solomon can be traced to his great mistake of not continuing to rely upon God for wisdom and not walking with humility before Him. What he did is in 1Kings 11: 1-14. A dramatic passage with God, who says he is angry, speaking a lot .

A day is a minature eternity.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
A ‘person’ is a world in miniature.
Albert Pike 1809 -1891 American author, poet, actor ,orator, editor , lawyer. He used ‘man’ and I had to change it.
It arrived today looking just like the picture on the packet
The first of many.

Here are some questions from Neale Walsch: ” Must you know yours will be the ‘better’ picture before you pick up the brush and paint? Can it not simply be another picture? Another expression of beauty?….
It certainly helps me to like the real.🤣
Who would deduce the dragonfly from the larva, the iris from the bud, the lawyer from the infant? We are all shape- shifters and magical reinventors . Life is really a plural noun, a caravan of selves.
Diane Ackerman 1948 American poet.
Today is blustery! Take care!
Sandy 🙂
I think this arrangement is so pretty! I love the miniatures and of course the turtle.
Ah, the turtle like yours. I was so happy to see that the dwarf irises had bloomed
Today’s miniature vase is beautiful!

“A day is a minature eternity.”—love this quote! Your paintings are so full of joy and life. I especially love the variation of colors in the big petal.❤️
Ah, that big petal was fun. The water colour just went where it wanted to go then nudged by me.
It’s so fun to see how the water moves the paint!
