Three green Hellebore and two rose centres

For we argue in our minds and conversations not with people but with powerful rulers of darkness in this world (Satan and His angels that were cast out from heaven). So then put on the armour of God so that you can withstand the fight for your mind.

Put truth around your most delicate intimate parts.

Righteousness to protect the breast area lungs and heart.

On your feet have shoes taking peace.

Have a shield of faith because darts of wickedness will be sent towards you.

In your head know that you have salvation that is like a helmit and the Sword is the Spirit reminding you of the words of God.

Then pray that you will be able to confidently explane the mystery of the Gospel.

Ephesians 6 : 12 – 19 ( Sandy’s understanding of how the mind needs to be looked after when committed to the service of God rather than Satan. )

I went to the garden and there were these three green Hellebore. Heads bowed with no water accumulating and rotting them. They are from a small new plant .

Hellebores sleep, creep and then leap.

Sleep – for a few years while the plant focusses on putting out roots. They look small and insignificant.

Creep – the clump will get visibly larger.

Leap – with the right care they spread really fast.

I then I went to my collection of little vases, mostly from charity shops, and wondered about the make of this miniature jug and bowl.

The big Hellibores and rose centres were incongruous in the delicate jug but I wanted to see them that way.

Incongruity, they say , is one of the main ingredients of humour. Maybe it’s because everybody can feel superior to me. I honestly don’t know.

Heavenly angels are commissioned to watch Christ’s people , (the sheep of His pastures). When Satan with his deception wants to deceive if possible the most dedicated person to God’s service, these angels set in operation influences that will save the tempted person if they will bring to mind Words from the Lord, realise their danger , and say: ” NO, I won’t enter into the scheme of Satan. I have an Older Brother on the throne of heaven, who has shown that He has a tender interest in me, and I will not make His heart of love sad. I know He is watching His children, keeping them as the apple of His eye. There is no diminishing of His love. I will not grieve the heart of Christ; I will not become a tempter to others. “
