Big blue lilyturf and Apple Eucalyptus

Test all things hold fast to what is good.

1Thessalonians 5 : 21
Five stems of Big blue lilyturf / Asparagaceae and a few stems of Apple Eucalyptus in a pedastal / stem glass.
The spikes with lilac-purple flowers which all seem to be similar in size produce single seeds. They are an autumn flower.

Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.

The plant is a dense clump with green arching leaves.
This is the second time I have seen it bloom in many years.
It needs some care with grass growing through it.
Apple Eucalyptus.
This is a small plant in my garden.
I hope to keep it at shrub size as it does grow fast.
Anywhere and everywhere is how you can describe its growth in Tasmania,
Australia.
They are terribly poisoness for most animals except Koalas .
These grey bears are immune to the poison but get so little nutrients from these eucalyptus leaves that they can sleep up to 20 hours a day conserving their energy.
(Wouldn’t mind a Koala in the garden 🤔)
The oval silver grey leaves grow in a row from large to minute and closer together at the tips. This makes them a good combination with other flowers in a vase as they are big near the centre and small and delicate at the periphery.

Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step.
