Timothy was brought up by his mum and granny. Paul writes about how Timothy’s knowledge of the scriptures would make him wise about salvation because evil people would become worse and worse in deceiving and he needed to preach God’s word instead of fables.

(Wild flowers need low nutrients and the cattle tear at a wide range of coars plants.) The trampling of the cattle expose the soil to the seed. A wild planting! Amongst the flowers are green winged and common orchids, yellow rattle, ragged robbin and meadow sweet.
You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don’t trust enough.

At home the grass is yellow but there are bright green stalks coming out all over the place. They are growing rapidly. I think they may be Bristly Locust.
The surest way to be deceived is to consider oneself cleverer than others.
