West Wittering Sussex

And God said let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have authority over all the animals and the earth…and God formed man out of the dust of the earth and then he breathed into his nose the breath of life and man became a living soul. ( something we haven’t been able to make – original life.)

Genesis 1: 26, Genesis 2: 7
The village of West Wittering is home to the best sandy beeches on the West Coast, they are at the mouth of Chichester Harbour. We have decided to spend some time at the coast with the weather still warm but cloudy with fine drizzle now and then.
“History is a child building a sandcastle by the sea, and that child is the whole majesty of man’s power in the world.” Heraclitus (An ancient Greek pre- Socratic Ionian, philosopher from Ephesus. He was the one who said “The only constant in life is change” )
“The man who stands firm to save a sandcastle can never be relied upon, for he has given away his common sense.”
Winston Churchill.

Some more about running away:

“Work is when you confront the problems you might otherwise be tempted to run from. “

Ralph Potts Vagabonding

“My challenge is not to run away from the hard questions. Truly what’s worth living for in this life?”

Jon Foreman (musician and song writer)

Bess and Roy on the sandy path past a fruitful bramble bush. The berries are good this year.
