Paul stood trial in front of the harshest of men, Nero. He had no-one to speak for him, he spoke with God by his side. Nero listened, light pierced his soul, he trembled but only for a minute. I looked at the word combination. A word simply used to look at what I had in the brown jug. I then looked at other related words and chose the two words I would like to use to describe the planting in the garden and they were medley and coalesce. Both words special in sound and sight. I want a connected whole but a varied mixture.

We cannot tell what may happen to us in the medley of life.  But we can decide what happens in us – how we can take it, what we do with it – and that is what really counts in the end.

The bed is sloped so the sea holly will go at the back where I  will put in sand and stones and in theory water will drain down. It is said they are captivating plants with unique clusters of blooms. (The lady who sold it to me said that should she see it in her garden she would pull it out immediately as a dreadful weed🤣 I then asked if I had to pay for it!) Then the crocosmia will be in clumps mid way, in nutrient rich, well drained but lightly moist slightly acid soil. ( My sister in law then said she had taken out piles from her garden. All they did was make bulbs and leaves with no flowers! 😭)The verbena being tall will be between and slightly in front of the crocosmia. ( I know this plant and have grown it from seed. I will only cut off the tall flowers when new shoots form❤️) The hebe shrub with white fluffy spires has opened up with the heat and fallen over. I will need to take some branches off and give it some water. I hope it works.  I like the combination in the brown jug , let me see if it works in the garden.
