Field grass, Queen Anne’s lace, field thistle and ragwort.

Just as a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion on them that respect Him. For He knows we are like grass but His mercy is from everlasting upon those you remember his commandments to do them. (Sandy’s shortened form.)

Psalm 103 : 13 – 18
Various grasses, Queen Anne’s lace, field thistle and ragwort all in a jug.

We say of the oak, How grand of girth!

Of the willow we say, How slender!

And yet to the soft grass clothing the earth

How slight is the praise we render.

Edgar Fawcett
The field where the various grasses and plants in flower grow.

Concrete is heavy; iron is hard – but the grass will prevail.

Edward Abbey

It was a privilege to be in the field this morning. The grasses are seeding in all their various forms. Their colour a movement of shades in changing light as clouds gathered and crossed the sky. Thank you for looking at my post.

  1. You’re right – we’re impressed by the large and loud (trees) and take the smaller and softer (grasses) for granted.

  2. I love standing around swaying grasses too! So happy to hear you had that kind of beautiful day! BTW, I always enjoy your flower arrangement creations, they are always so pretty. I still smile at your little turtle side-kick too. 🥰

  3. I agree the grass and your flower arrangements are always so lovely with the pink turtle by their side. ❤❤👍👌💐🌳🌳💐💐🙏🙏

  4. I’ve been ƅrowsing on-line greater than three hours as of
late, but I by no means discovered any attention-grabbing article liқe yours.
It’s lovelү worth sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all site ߋwners and
bloցgers made excellent content material as уou probably did,
the net will probably be much more helpful than eᴠer
    befoгe.
