For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
The Bible John 3 : 16
The nuts of chestnut trees have been an important source of food since at least 2,000 BC. They are used to make flour and a substitute for potatoes. The trees are fast growing and tolerate rocky, acidic poor soil. They help return degraded landscapes into healthy forests.
Some chestnut proverbs:
You will pull Chestnuts from the fire with cat’s paws.
French
He makes someone else take his chestnuts from the fire.
Hungarian
Sit and wait for the good chestnuts.
Samoan Proverb
Anon
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:17

Oh, I love that picnic table! A tragedy of it falling, so wonderful to bring it back to a life with purpose. ❤️
Yes, it was so creatively and carefully done so as not to destroy its perfect length. Glad you liked it.
