Crocus, water, glass cube and stone

For now we see through a glass, darkly;

but then face to face:

now I know in part;

but then shall I know as even I am known.

And now abideth

faith, hope, charity,

these three ;

but the greatest of these is

charity.

1Corinthians 13 : 12,13
Crocus , water, glass cube and stone.

Lowly with a broken kneck,

The crocus lays her cheek to mine.

G. Meredith
Crocus from the garden. Two were head heavy lying on the grass. One was ready to open to the sun today. Through the glass under the water and above. Flower and stone.

A single crocus blossom ought to be enough to convince our heart that springtime , no matter how predictable , is somehow a gift, gratuitous , gratis , a grace.

The root of all joy is gratefulness… It is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful.

Both these quotes are from David Steindt Rast. Thank you for thinking them and sharing them😊🀩

  1. Beautiful, gentle arrangement. Longing for the day we see Jesus face to face and have an explanation for all that confuses us. Miss you sis!
