Our elm that fell in storm Eunice. Posted bysandyroybessandbugzy20th February 202220th February 2022Posted inFebruary 2022 He was broken for our sins… and by His stripes we are healed. (this is what came to my mind… such brokenness)Isaiah 53 : 5 Our Elm at least 30 years old. A healthy tree. We were told we were lucky to have it inspite of the awful disease affecting these trees. It fell in storm Eunice on Friday at approximately 13:37 (the time I took this picture). It made no crashing sound as its head was held gently by a strong fence. All I saw was its last quiver of movement as it came to rest. Not uprooted. Torn and broken 💔 …right at the base. Another broken tree on our Bess walk.💔 “Nothing to say . Sad.”Sandy. Yes the elm was in its mid – thirties. Roy spent a little time working on it. But the weather isn’t that good. Loading... Reply
That’s awful. Trees take so long to grow. Sorry about that 💔
