Good bye South Africa and my lovely family

May you experience the love of Christ though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3:19
The mountain this morning at 5:30am with the birds singing to welcome a new day in Africa. Our last day.
6:55am in the back garden.

The Bible is the story of two gardens: Eden and Gethsemane.

In the first , Adam took a fall. In the second, Jesus took a stand.

In the first God sought Adam. In the second, Jesus sought God.

In Eden Adam hid from God. In Gethsemane, Jesus emerged from the tomb.

In Eden Satan led Adam to a tree that led to his death. From Gethsemane, Jesus went to a tree that led to our life.

  1. Aw, missing you. Too sad to go back into the cottage since you left. Will stay out for a few more days😥. Glad you’re home safely.

  2. I hope you are transitioning well. We are leaving Cape Town for Scotland on 8th August next month. That is where my father comes from. There is a mingling of joy, hope sadness and loss, but the journey goes on and we are lead by the Good Shepherd.

    1. Ah God bless you. It will take a while to “transition”. For me I tried not to compare the two countries but rather make a space for the best of the new one. The best of everything.
