Bulbinella is unassumimg in appearance and almost as common as grass. An orange and yellow splash of colour against the green of the Lowveld. Growing here and there near the bridge.
A path that allows you to climb on to the railway track. Just be careful that there are no trains coming. This is the second bridge.
Looking through the spaces between the sleepers to the brown water of the Olifants river below.

In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first of which comes; so with present time.

Weaver birds have covered a tree with their nests in the centre of the picture and the first bridge is crumbling just behind. The third bridge is the one I am taking the picture from!🤣

A river is more than amenity, it is a treasure.

The rhythmic pattern of a seed pod on a thorny stem with minute fine leaves.
