Orange and green from the garden.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God with bitterness, anger and evil speaking but rather use good words. Be kind to one another, soft hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.

Rephrased from Ephesians 4: 29 – 32
One Viola and two Primroses and some small white pebbles in a little bottle. This is our sunshine from the garden today. Grey and rain here today but these three are a treat with a Primrose leaf and a few stalks of Sedum as our green.
Primroses don’t like heat so in warm countries they are grown as annuals but otherwise if after blooming they are mulched with organic matter ( pine needles/oak leaves) and watered during dry spells, they are perennials. They bloom in early spring when the mornings are still dark and the ground is frozen.
They like morning sun and afternoon shade. Snails and slugs love them and they are susceptible to fungi and bacterial diseases. Water from below. Wet petals encourage fungal disease.
The wet brown, curled leaves and green sedum in the garden.

Less me, more other
Daily kindness, the action
Simplicity "IN!"
My object for this year “A simple mound of salt!” A little salt preserves and brings out flavour. A little kindness is sincere and helpful .

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act but a habit.
