2 Snowdrops for 2022 A Safe and Happy New Year

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Resist the devil and he shall flee from thee.

Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4: 8, 10
Some little shells picked up on a beach with my sister Shelly too long ago. They are anchoring a garden gift to all of us for spring 2022.
These are the first two snowdrops, a promise of spring. A gift from the garden to all of us . Shy simple and lovely.
There are more than 2,500 varieties of Snowdrops in the UK , although not a native species, they are now well established in the wild. They do best in well-drained soil in light shade, similar to their native woodland habitat. A habitat we will spend time walking through in a few weeks from now. I will take a few pictures to share these woodland treasures with you in 2022 .❤
Galanthus elwesii ‘Mrs MacNamara’ , a variety of Snowdrop, has a really strong perfume , one flower will fill a room. I would love to see and smell this flower.

Vita the creator/ designer / garden dream maker, of Sissinghurst garden once said: “A flowerless room is a soul – less room, to my thinking; but even one solitary little vase of a living flower can redeem it.” 💚

Happy New year and thank you for helping to make 2021 a learning experience.

Good angels restrain Satan

God has angels whose whole work is to draw those who shall be heirs of salvation. Whenever one takes a step toward Jesus, Jesus is taking a step toward him. The angels work is to keep back the power of Satan… The Lord gives to every angel his work for this fallen world. Divine help is provided for men and women. They have the opportunity of cooperating with heavenly intelligences, of being labourers together with God. How can people so favoured by God fail to appreciate their opportunities and privileges?
