Autumn leaves still hanging on in the garden and Flaming Kate rooting and planted.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6 : 23
There is a warmth and glow in textured leaves darkly veined by life ebbing.
The red glow of a mother’s love
A dressing table tortoise enjoyed by little girl hands
the head and tail come off
and they did many times
now me in autumnal yews caught between the little girl and the red of a mother’s love
A memory of long ago and home.
A perfect hole designed and made to satisfy some hungry ‘other ‘
while the brown of winter draws around the bright yellow leaves of 2021.
New roots from the cuttings of Flaming Kate taken at the time of and from the plants of the post:

Flaming Kate, Fig Leaves and twigs with Gall disease.
These flaming Kate cuttings now in small pots of earth ready to grow for 2022!
A return journey after our booster for Omicron. Just love the winter trees.

Faith and feeling are as distinct as east is from west.

Faith is not dependent on feeling.

We must earnestly cry to God in faith, feeling/no feeling, and then live our prayers. Our assurance and evidence is God’s word, and after we have asked we must believe without doubting.

E.G. White letter 7, 1892
