France Day 21 Montpellier : A city enjoyed by its people

To Sandy…
This arch was completed in 1693 with four panels added in 1715 to honour the reign of Louis XIV. One of the four celebrates the digging of the Canal La Midi which we walked along in Carcassonne. Go through this arch to see the people enjoying their city on an October afternoon…
… the sound of a guitar
…friendly chatter with permission to photograph them…
…clearly friends in colour empathy,
… to the art of changing one thing into another,
…then mind exercise with chess…
… people who live with their dog…
…an October reminder for ladies to check…
Our Aire for the night 13km outside of Montpellier…
a sunshine city in October!

  1. Lovely to read about your experiences! You show us things easily missed. Wonderful pictures and ideas Sandy 🤗

  2. Looks like a good place to live. Quaint and modern at the same time. Lovely place you slept last night. Wish we had a bugzy and a Bess. 🥰
