The Red Sorrel is the spike that is across the Thames.Still getting much bigger on the tree. Ready in OctoberQuite acidic now.Eaten by the birdsOn the ground too long!The one on the left is a good size.Cooking ApplesBurdock leaves and thistleGreat Hairy Willowherb Great Burdock. A thistle- like flower in the foreground. It is common in Asian cooking in Japan and China where the roots are cooked as a vegetable fried or boiled.Tutsan berries. These are toxic due to the presence of hyperion, causing nausea and diarrhoea in humans. The berries turn from white/green, to red, to black.Victoria Plums. The wasps have been enjoying them but so have we. Our second Victoria Plum tree was planted on 12th February 2021. So we will soon have fruit from both.
Love is something more stern and splendid than mere kindness.

It is the map of the Thames. Sorry I should have said something. We bought it to remind us of walking its length.
