Angels Wings with rising Buddleia and Lavender

For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so we shall ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4 : 16 – 18
Buddleia, Lavender, Curry leaf and Angels Wings.

The Angels Wings plant was dug into the garden with the 3 white Holyhocks growing up above and behind it. This was successful for a while until strong winds changed the direction of growth of the heavily flowering Holyhocks and the slugs had a love affair with the Angels Wings. Yesterday I lifted and potted the mother plant and potted two cuttings. The leaves in the arrangement are what I removed to do this. I hope it will recover with more drainage and less water. Our sudden down pours haven’t been helping.

The container is perfect for supporting this grouping in oasis.
The softest of white on these beautiful Angels Wings is delicate and the leaf is carefully finished off with a blunted serrated edge . The veins provide curving lines into the ridge.

But let us, who are of the day , be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ , who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep,

we should live together with Him.

1Thessalonians 5: 8-10
