Lay not in wait, O wicked man,
against the dwelling of the righteous;spot not his rest place. For a just man fallen 7 times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
The righteous can be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

During this trip we enjoyed Chris and Frieder Peak’s company. After so much time spent in lock down they were the first we shared a meal with,in their garden,on Sabbath. We later walked through the village of Ringland where we parked near a green.
On Monday they showed us Norwhich. A city on the river Yare with the most beautiful flint built buildings. Bess was allowed into the Abbey but after a while stopped put her paws up and almost jumped into my arms her way of asking to be carried for a bit. I think the stone was cold on her paws and she needed a comfort break.
She is still very much a puppy and was very happy to come down in my arms.
On Sunday we spent the day in Cromer. A typical English sea side town. We sat in the sunken gardens built into the cliff along the sea front eating ice cream. Beautifully sheltered from the wind and with water running through between colourful planting.
On the way out we went past John’s homes, Elma House. It is good to see where people spend their time.
From 22-25 April
We were able to get tickets on Thursday for the first day Sandringham Castle was open after Covid lock down. We spent a wonderful Sabbath afternoon in the gardens after Bess had a run in the forest with plenty of squirrels. She slept in Bugzy as Dogs are not allowed in the gardens.
We then had a day in Spalding. The bulb planting was special.
26 April We travelled home stopping at Ely.
